Day 12

Post 1 thing you've aten today

This was my lunch. Two toasts. One with butter (!), ham(!), cheese (!) and cucumberslices. The other one with Prime (Norwegian spread that is made of milkproducts) and my daily glass of milk on the side :)
Fearfood Friday? huh, nope, not for me. For me, everyday is a fearfood day!

Day 6

What was your favorite meal before your ED? What is your favorite meal now?
It was bacon wrapped chicken with pepper cream cheese sauce made by my mom. Now it is steamed vegetables… I know it’s not a meal, but I can’t come up with anything at the moment.

*Foodgasm*

I haven't been as hungry as I've been today in a looooong time! It almost scares me how hungry I am haha. But I know that my body is craving the energy it needs, and face it, it haven't been getting much of it lately, due to my latest relapse, WHICH I'm almost over now! :-D

I hate relapses, but I love food! It's devilish how fantastic food can be, both in appearances and in taste! The pictures speak for themselves.

*Foodgasm* Here's what I ate for dinner, not nearly as fancy as those pictures, but it was tasty though!

Lunch time

It's lunch time now and I actually brought food with me! And I'm eating it! I'm quite impressed since Ana doesn't like food and eating at school, but I didn't let her control me. It's MY body and MY decisions, not hers.
Todays lunch consists of a wholegrain non wheat bread with creme frés (?), an egg and a bit oregano and lemon pepper. For dessert I'm having 2 pieces of my raw vegan brownie (recipe in an earlier post)

Raw vegan brownies recipe

Today I made those incredibly fantastic yummy healthy brownies:

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups pecans OR walnuts
  • ¾ cup cacao powder
  • pinch sea salt
  • 2 cups medjool dates
  • ¼ cacao nibs (optional)
Method:
  1. In the food processor, process the pecans until they are a roughly ground flour texture.
  2. Add cacao powder and salt and process again to combine (make sure the lid is on properly so you don’t breathe in the cacao powder cloud).
  3. Add medjool dates and combine until a ball forms.
  4. If you want a more fluffy, airy brownie rather than a dense one, process the pecans less and medjool dates left, stopping before a ball forms.
  5. In a small pan or container, press the brownie mixture down. Sprinkle cacao nibs on top.
  6. Freeze for a few hours to harden and set.
  7. Store in the fridge or freezer (I like the freezer better).
Notes:
For a fudgier brownie, try adding 1-2 Tbsp of liquid sweeter such as maple syrup, agave syrup or coconut nectar.

I didn't process the nuts enough, that's why they're so "chunky" hehe. But they are yummy as well :-D

Breakfast

My breakfast this morning:

  • Lactose free yogurt, since I'm lactose intolerant at the moment due to lack of nurishment over long time.
  • 1 tbs Sugarfree apple and raspberry jam
  • 6 chopped up fresh dates
After I tasted it, I drizzled some cinnamon over it and it was YUMMY! Definitely going to make this more often!
The beauty of this is that you can use whatever you like! You don't have to use dates, or this kind of jam. If you like apples, then you use apples! You like blueberry jam? then you use blueberry jam!
Yogurt goes with almost anything. I LOVE IT!
